----- 2024 IN B/W -----
At the end of 2023 I thought, why not shoot black and white more. Which turned into why not shoot black and white for a whole year. So 2024 became the year to shoot only black and white film and turning my digital files into monochome. So far it has tought me most of my compositions are shit when you take out the color. Black and white needs light, contrast and a strong composition to tell you where to look.
Below are the images shot in Cologne, the city I moved to on the first of January 2024. What better place to start this year of black and white photography? This is the selection so far.
